 The Georgia Green Industry Association,

Griffin Greenhouse, and Nursery Supplies

have teamed up with Myers Lawn & Garden Group

to ask you to "Think Green". Together we can work to help

save our planet by making our industry greener one step at a time.

Recycling Program Details

Do you ever look around your nursery and wonder what you are going to do with your discarded plastic containers? We have a "Green" solution for you at Griffin Greenhouse & Nursery Supplies.

The Georgia Green Industry Association, Griffin Greenhouse Supplies and Myers Lawn & Garden initiated this program in 2011. In it's first three years over 100,000 pounds of plastic has been removed from the waste stream and recycled into new uses. GGIA receives 100% of net proceeds from this program.

Why recycle?

  • To help do our part for what is best for the environment
  • Contribute to the sustainability of the industry
  • Reduce clutter and waste
  • Fewer disposal cost

What is recyclable?

Most containers have the appropriate recycling symbol molded into the bottom. Mixed color and printed containers are acceptable.
