GGIA’s membership reflects the rich diversity of the industry in Georgia. Horticulture is a leading segment of agriculture which remains the major economic engine of the state. And with members from all areas of the industry in all corners of the state, you can rest assured that we are looking out for your interests and have right the connections to keep a finger on the pulse of the issues that can impact your business. Our strength as an organization is derived from that unity. And that unity makes finding a colleague, a customer or a supplier that much easier among your fellow members.   

Networking- Our diverse membership give you more chances to network in a meaningful and productive way. Be it colleagues, suppliers or customers. If they’re in the business, they’re in GGIA.  

Legislative Relations- Our staff has the experience and the relationships to effectively monitor and advocate for legislative policy that serves the interests of the industry.

Keeping You Informed- Timely updates deliver critical news to you when you need it allowing you to take the steps needed to proactively prepare.

A United Voice-. As a member of an organizations representing all of the interests of the industry, we stand together and leverage our influence when we speak as one.

The GGIA Board of Director’s- Our all-volunteer board represents all segments of the industry, including yours. The board works closely with the staff to insure we meet our goal of protecting and advocating for the industry.  

The Power of Partnerships- Knowing the right people in the right places. We have the connections to help you address issues, grow your business and stay ahead in a fast changing market.

Education and Certification- We work with education professionals to insure industry access to programs that allow you to set yourself apart from the competition by demonstrating an advanced degree of professionalism.

The Wintergreen Conference and Tradeshow- The premier horticulture and Green Industry Show in Georgia. Exhibitors from across the country paired with education tracts that keep you out in front of industry trends, changing regulations and technical issues.

The Academy of Crop Production- A joint effort of GGIA and UGA Cooperative Extension, all new for 2016. It’s the place you go to learn to grow. Look for more information coming soon on this education event offering advanced content, tours and professional development for growers of floriculture and nursery crops.
