Mobile Ag Classroom in the Works

In the near future, students and others across the state of Georgia will have the opportunity to experience and learn about the state's number one industry, Agriculture, in a mobile classroom setting. The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture is in the process of constructing the first of these classrooms and Horticulture will be one of the commodities on display. The mission of the mobile classroom is to inspire the next generation of leaders in agriculture through an educational STEM-based mobile unit.

GGIA has the opportunity to lead the efforts in raising the funds necessary for this horticulture outreach project and we encourage our members to contribute. Contributions can be sent to GGIA, a 501(c)(6) organization, and noted for the mobile classroom or sent to the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture, a 501(c)(3) organization, and noted as a GGIA - mobile classroom contribution. All contributions must be in by March 1, 2020.
