Khalia Clemons, a Norcross native, entrepreneur, Howard University Alumna, and current Gwinnett Technical College student, is dedicated to being the change she wants to see in the world. In addition to her love for plants, Khalia loves to inspire others through education, conversation, and service. A goal of hers is to change the status quo surrounding food, advocating for people to have a more active role in our communities by adopting a hands-on approach to ensure all populations and socioeconomic classes have accessibility to affordable, fresh food. Khalia plans to offer her horticultural knowledge and small-scale farming experience to the community in the form of classes and as a service to homeowners upon graduation.
